Portuguese striker Betinho was as surprised as everyone else to see his name included in Manchester United's squad list on the Premier League's website earlier this week.
On Tuesday, if you were to scroll down to the striker section of the Reds' squad list, you would see Betinho there as a United player with the number 11 shirt, which is currently assigned to Mason Greenwood. Betinho has since been removed from the squad list.
Speaking to Jornal de Notícias, Betinho said: "I only knew it was true when my mates sent me messages and then I confirmed that it was indeed my name on the Premier League website. I got more calls today than on my birthday!"

While the forward has played in England before - a sole cameo appearance for Brentford in the Championship - he is now enjoying life in Portugal's non-league pyramid with Sporting Club Espinho.
Betinho clearly saw the funny side of the error before his name was removed. The striker took to Instagram, posting a story with the caption: "Thank you, Manchester United, see you soon. It’ll be a pleasure to share the dressing room with you," tagging Portugal internationals Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot.
