The most romantic night of the year is fast approaching, but why battle it out for a restaurant reservation when you can wine and dine from the comfort of your own home?

While you can always rely on supermarkets to roll out luxe versions of their usual Dine In offers (this year all hovering around the £15 mark), thanks to the rise of recipe kits over the last two years, restaurants have been love bombing hungry romantics this year too.

And what a feast there is! From prime steak to mouthwatering curries, these gourmet bundles are ready to help you sweep that special someone clean off their feet.

They’re in heavy demand with many pre-orders closing days before February 14, so if you like the look of one we’ve listed below, move fast. They won’t hang around for long.

Best Valentine’s Supermarket meal deals

Tesco Finest Valentine’s Dinner for Two

The supermarket has launched a limited edition menu for two for £15. Spanning starters, mains, two sides and desserts, the deal also includes either: a bottle of bubbly, wine, a four pack of Peroni, or non-alcoholic options.

The menu, available online and in-store, includes new additions for 2022 such as Calamari with Chilli Jam, Feta & Red Pepper Tartlets or Heart Shaped Camembert Sharing Bread to start, followed by Duck Breast Portions with a Raspberry Hoisin Sauce, Burgers with a Heart Shaped Triple Cheese Melt, Chicken in Prosecco Sauce and Butternut Squash & Goats Cheese Lasagne for vegetarian diners.

Sweet offers come in the form of Millionaires tarts festively finished with red sprinkled hearts and Belgian Chocolate & Orange Pots. Traditional favourites like steak with peppercorn sauce and salmon remain on the menu, as well as a selection of options from Tesco’s all-vegan Wicked Kitchen range.

In all, there’s a possible 76.800 combinations. How’s that for choice?

Sainsbury’s Valentine’s Dine-In For Two

Sainsbury’s is running its Valentine’s dinner promotion until February 14 so there’s still time to enjoy a special meal at a price that won’t make you faint.

Costing £15 for two diners, the bundles cherry-picks dishes from the supermarket’s Taste the Difference range and shoppers can pick a starter, main accompanied with a side, a dessert and one of a selection of drinks.

Time to take date night up a notch.

Asda’s 2022 Valentine's Meal Deal

Asda has thought of everything for your loved-up at-home dine-in experience this February. Its Extra Special meal deal not only includes a starter, main, two sides, dessert, and either a bottle of wine or a box of Lily O’Brien chocolates for just £15, but you’ll also get a free Sky Movies voucher too.

The menu includes popular dishes like sirloin steak, lamb shanks, and salmon but there’s also a decent vegan offer too with crabless croquettes, an Extra Special Vegan Coq-au-Vin Pie and Extra Special Vegan Belgian Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Hearts to finish.

M&S Valentine’s Dine In

Coming in at £5 more than its competitors, M&S’s V-Day menu is a tale of luxury all the way. The deal includes a starter, a main, a side, a dessert and a bottle of fizz or wine or a box of chocolates for £20. We’d start with the delightfully savoury leek and cheese souffle tarts before the lamb rack for our main course, wrapping things up with the Nuts About You cheesecake, an addictive baked chocolate praline cheesecake topped with heart shaped chocs.

And yes, we can confirm the Love Sausage is back for another year. Romance lives at M&S.

Morrisons Valentine’s Day Dine in for Two Meal Deal

The supermarket chain is matching its competitor’s offers with a £15 meal deal offer for two people.

Options for the delicious feast include camembert tear & share bread, scallops and prawns, beef wellington, sirloin steak, rolled dover sole, dauphinoise potatoes, profiteroles and chocolate brownie puddings for afters.

Wash it all down with one of Morrisons award-winning wines (Prosecco or Rose Prosecco are in the deal too), or a special soft drink. Vegans are catered for as well, with plenty of satisfying plant-based options.

Best luxury meal kits for Valentine’s Day

Drake & Morgan

If you’re a carnivore, steak is the most popular option for Valentine’s dinner. But, as any connoisseur knows, not all cuts are created equal.

The Kraken Rum Jellyfish Valentine’s Dinner

If you're up for adding some adventure to your Valentine's dinner, an answer has risen from the deep thanks to The Kraken Rum.

The booze brand is running a competition which will see a slap-up three-course meal delivered to their door, free of charge.

Developed by professional chefs, the plates put one of the ocean’s most sustainable resources, the jellyfish, take the spotlight in the starter, main - even the dessert - all to be washed down with a wickedly boozy Kraken cocktail.
