Former England international Jermaine Jenas believes there was night and day between Leeds United's first and second half performances as the Whites came from behind to snatch a dramatic late equaliser against Brighton & Hove Albion. Danny Welbeck's first half strike saw the visitors take the lead on 21 minutes in a game Leeds absolutely had to get a result in.
Chances came but Leeds looked lacking in confidence in the first half, with things needing to change after the break. The second half saw Jesse Marsch's side take the game to a Brighton side who were in good form heading into the contest, with the hosts continuing to probe for an equaliser to get them back into the match.
In the 92nd minute, a moment of brilliance from 20-year-old forward Joe Gelhardt saw the Leeds youngster dummy defender Lewis Dunk, before chipping the ball over his trailing leg to loft a cross into the path of centre back Pascal Strujik who headed home from close range to secure the Whites a point.

And Match of the Day pundit Jermaine Jenas reckons the second-half performance could have potentially saved Leeds' season as they look to beat the drop with just one Premier League game to go.
"In the first half, they looked tense to me, they didn't look like they were creative," said Jenas. "Things weren't quite going for them.
"Second half, there was a completely different application, complete different approach. Players running forward, running in their numbers as well getting into very good areas, quality was being delivered, they were putting in that extra pass as well.
"Brighton had to defend, they didn't have to defend before, they had to throw bodies at the ball to make blocks and to make things happen. This bit of skill here [from Gelhardt for the goal], is one of the best bits of skill you're going to see all year from a lad who stuck at it all game and provided the assist for what is potentially going to be a goal that could keep them in the league.
"That bit of skill from Gelhardt is incredible. To deliver that, in a moment that was needed, for Struijk to get the goal, the place went wild."
Leeds end their season with a trip to Brentford on Sunday, when the final relegation slot will be decided, but face a nervous Thursday evening, when rivals Burnley and Everton are both in action.
