With the start of the school summer holidays we've been feeling nostalgic for the carefree days of what seemed to be an endless summer ahead.
Although it wasn't just out of school that we used to have the best times. Recently, we asked ECHO readers what was the best school trip you remember growing up in Merseyside? From Camelot to Colomendy, Speke Hall, Alton Towers, Knowsley Safari Park and may more - there are many school trips we remember fondly growing up.
Whether close to home or even further afield, we all remember the excitement of being packed off by our parents with a lunch box full of sandwiches and treats, ready to make memories with our classmates. Except of course if you were travel sick, or you spent the journey sitting next to the kid heaving into a Kwik Save bag.
