The Cincinnati Bengals caused quite a stir on social media during and right after the Week 6 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
That game was a 17-13 win, moving the team to 3-3 at the break at right in a position to make a run.
Onlookers had to know the game was going to be a close one given the 3-1 resume the Seahawks sported going into this one, plus some of the offensive inconsistencies for Joe Burrow’s unit and the big-play and tackling woes that have plagued the defense early this year.
Here’s a look at some of the most notable reactions from fans and media alike from just after the game went final.
After a rough start to their season, including a frustrating calf injury for star QB Joe Burrow, the #Bengals beat the #Seahawks and go into their bye at 3-3.

FINAL: #Bengals 17, Seahawks 13.
The identity of this defense the last two years just showed itself again.
That was the exact performance the Cincinnati D needed considering the first 5 weeks.
The offense, well, needs this bye week to self-scout.

The defense came through. What a day for them.
Bengals get back to .500 at 3-3 into their BYE week.

RELAX. The Bengals are 3-3 and Burrow is healthy at the bye.

BJ Hill with a monster pressure and hit on Geno to end the game
Bengals offense with a poor 2nd H, but the most important thing today was to get to 3-3 and get Burrow healthy going into the bye. Mission accomplished on both of those fronts, though a lot to clean up.

The Cincinnati #Bengals are 3-3 heading into the bye week.
It comes after the Bengals:
– Started 0-2, both divisional losses.
– Lost 2 separate games 27-3.
– Didn't have a mobile QB for 4 weeks.Feels like this is where the #Bengals say "game on" to the rest of the league.

BJ Hill with another QB hit to end the game! Tight hard fought game between two high end teams. Bengals hit the bye at 3-3 which seemed nearly impossible after the Titans game.

Potentially season saving second half by the bengals’ defense
— John Sheeran (@John__Sheeran) October 15, 2023
Seahawks had three drives in the second half inside the Bengals eight yard line where they scored ZERO points.
