A week removed from generating all sorts of reactions during a loss to a heated rival in the season opener, the Cincinnati Bengals were at it again in Week 2 during a loss against the Dallas Cowboys.
Buy Bengals TicketsThe Bengals started horrifically slow on all sides of the football in Dallas, falling into a fast two-touchdown hole against a Cowboys team starting a backup quarterback in place of Dak Prescott.
Despite efforts from the likes of Joe Burrow, that didn’t really change much even well into the third quarter.
Here’s a look at some of the most notable takeaways from during and after the game.
Don’t care for the “it’s early” crowd. Hit the panic button.

That is just a horrid loss for the Bengals. You can't lose to Cooper Rush, I'm sorry. Can't happen.

Bengals can’t start out flat and win games.

Dumpster fire 0-2 start to the season for the Bengals.
— Brandon Saho (@BrandonSaho) September 18, 2022
The offense has been a disaster through 2 games.
The Bengals drop to 0-2 and the regression sure does feel real at this point.

Don’t throw the ball short of the stick on 3rd and 3 with the game hanging in the balance.
— Mo Egger (@MoEgger) September 18, 2022
Zac Taylor got out coached the entire game. He’s led the Bengals to an 0-2 start. Brutal.
— Blake Jewell (@BlakeJewellNFL) September 18, 2022
The Bengals offense, with Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, Joe Mixon, and Joe Burrow has scored 20 and 17 points in 2 games. That's unacceptable.

Bengals just aren’t good enough right now …. We can talk about what could or should of happened but Bengals aren’t executing and dropping games they should win …. Might be a long season

Brutal 0-2 start. So close in both games.

OK, now I’m worried about the Bengals.

Your 2022 Cincinnati Bengals have opened the season losing to Mitchell Trubisky and Cooper Rush. Humiliating to say the least.
— Teth-Adam (@DCRezz) September 18, 2022
The Bengals offense and the Browns defense currently make up the biggest waste of talent in the NFL.

I faded the Bengals coming into this year but losing to Mitch Trubisky and Cooper Rush to open your season is 🤮 🤮
