As someone who gets overwhelmed by endlessly scrolling through streaming services, I’ve started appreciating just how useful the top 10 lists really are. Instead of spending half an hour trying to decide what to watch, you can instantly see what everyone else is streaming right now. And if something’s climbed high enough to rank, there’s usually a good reason for it.
Prime Video’s top 10 has become one of my favorite places to find unexpected binge-worthy shows, whether it’s a returning hit or an underrated pick suddenly gaining traction. So if you’re struggling to choose your next watch, I’ve picked the three Prime Video shows from the current top 10 that are absolutely worth binging this week.
That includes a slick spy thriller returning with an action-packed new season, a sweeping supernatural drama packed with family secrets, and one of Prime Video’s most gripping political action series.
This list is based on the Prime Video U.S. top 10 shows as of Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
Best shows in the Prime Video top 10
‘Citadel’
After a three-year wait and some behind-the-scenes restructuring, the high-budget spy thriller “Citadel” has returned with a shift in tone and some fresh faces. Joe Russo and Greg Yaitanes took the helm for the second season, aiming for a more “organized chaos” feel compared to the first season's troubled production. If you haven't seen them yet, the spinoffs “Citadel: Diana” and “Citadel: Honey Bunny” are also available on Prime Video and help flesh out the wider universe mentioned in the new season.
Set one month after the events of season 1, “Citadel” season 2 follows former agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) as they’re forced out of hiding when a dangerous new threat appears. With the rival organization Manticore preparing to unleash powerful technology capable of causing global devastation, the pair reunite with Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci) to recruit a new team of operatives and stop the conspiracy before it spirals out of control.

‘The House of the Spirits’
The Prime Video series “The House of the Spirits” is the first Spanish-language TV adaptation of Isabel Allende’s legendary 1982 novel. While there was a famous 1993 film version, this series is a much deeper dive into the source material, filmed on location in Chile to capture the authentic atmosphere of the story. Told across multiple timelines, the eight-episode series weaves together romance, tragedy, and historical events into a sweeping family saga.
“The House of the Spirits” follows four generations of the Trueba family across several decades in Chile. The story begins with Clara del Valle (Nicole Wallace/Dolores Fonzi), a young woman with supernatural abilities who marries the ambitious Esteban Trueba (Alfonso Herrera), a wealthy landowner determined to build a powerful legacy. As the years pass, the series follows the lives of Clara, their daughter Blanca (Sara Becker/Fernanda Urrejola), and granddaughter Alba (Rocío Hernández) as family secrets reshape their lives.

‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’
I’m not surprised “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” is trending on Prime Video again, as the series returns in movie form with “Ghost War” this month. While the series concluded its four-season run in 2023, it still remains one of the streamer’s most successful tentpole franchises. It marked the first time the iconic CIA analyst was adapted for TV, and now the story is transitioning back to the big screen. If you’re in need of an intense political thriller, this one is worth adding to your watchlist.
Jack Ryan (John Krasinski) starts off working behind a desk analyzing financial data and intelligence reports. When he uncovers a pattern of suspicious transactions linked to potential global threats, he is pulled into field operations for the first time. Across multiple seasons, Ryan teams up with CIA supervisor James Greer (Wendell Pierce) and other operatives as he tracks down dangerous organizations, uncovers high-level conspiracies, and races across different countries to prevent large-scale attacks.
