Best Prime Video top 10 shows — here’s the top 3 series to binge-watch this week (March 18-24)

Prime Video streaming logo red.

Finding something worth your time on Prime Video can feel like a chore, especially when the top 10 list is constantly shifting. With so many trending titles competing for attention, it’s not always clear which shows actually live up to the hype and which ones are just having a moment.

That’s where we come in, of course. Instead of scrolling endlessly, we’ve taken a closer look at what’s climbing the charts right now and narrowed it down to the three standout series you should be watching this week. Whether you’re in the mood for Nicole Kidman’s new mystery thriller, a fun series centered around an iconic detective, or a thrilling superhero animation, these picks are binge-worthy.

This list is based on the Prime Video top 10 U.S shows as of Wednesday, March 18 2026.

Best shows in the Prime Video top 10

‘Scarpetta’

Nicole Kidman has firmly carved out a space in the world of mystery-driven stories, starring in several streaming originals known for their twisty plots, including “The Perfect Couple” on Netflix and the 2025 movie “Holland” on Prime Video. Now, she’s returning to familiar territory with “Scarpetta”, a compelling new thriller series on Prime Video, adapted from Patricia Cornwell’s bestselling investigative novels. I’m not surprised it jumped straight to the No. 1 spot.

“Scarpetta” follows Dr. Kay Scarpetta (Kidman), a forensic pathologist who returns to her hometown to resume her role as chief medical examiner. When a brutal murder emerges with links to a decades-old case, Scarpetta begins investigating, uncovering connections that span both her early career and the present day. She works alongside former detective Pete Marino (Bobby Cannavale), FBI profiler Benton Wesley (Simon Baker), and her niece Lucy Farinelli-Watson (Ariana DeBose).

‘Young Sherlock’

Having been adapted for the screen over 250 times, Sherlock Holmes holds the Guinness World Record as the most portrayed literary human character. It’s an impressive legacy, but also one that makes any new adaptation feel like a risk. So when Prime Video announced “Young Sherlock,” expectations were low. Fortunately, the series exceeds them, delivering a smart, engaging reimagining that feels both inventive and true to the character’s roots.

“Young Sherlock” follows Sherlock Holmes (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) as a 19-year-old student at Oxford, long before becoming the famous detective. When a murder case threatens his freedom, Sherlock begins investigating, drawing him into a dangerous conspiracy that stretches far beyond the university. Along the way, he crosses paths with James Moriarty (Dónal Finn), who becomes both an ally and a (future) rival, and Princess Gulun Shou'an (Zine Tseng), who becomes entangled in the mystery.

‘Invincible’

One of the biggest animated series on streaming, “Invincible,” has officially returned for its fourth season on Prime Video today. The first three episodes are available to stream right now, with the remaining episodes set to roll out weekly, leading up to the finale on April 22. This three-part premiere is an ambitious, slow-burning introduction that builds toward the question the series has long grappled with: when does a hero cross the line?

“Invincible” season 4 picks up with Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) recovering from his near-fatal battle with Conquest (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) while returning to work with Cecil (Walton Goggins) and the Guardians of the Globe. As Mark and Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs) resume protecting Earth, Omni-Man (J. K. Simmons) and Allen the Alien (Seth Rogan) reunite with the Coalition of Planets, preparing for an incoming conflict. The arrival of Grand Regent Thragg (Lee Pace) places Mark and his friends directly in his sights.
