Best Netflix top 10 shows — top 3 series you need to binge-watch this week (April 7-13)

Netflix on a futuristic hyper light background.

In between Netflix shows right now? If you're tempted to look at what's trending on the streaming service for some suggestions, you might stumble on a top new watch, but you can't always guarantee that what's in Netflix's top 10 shows list deserves a spot on your watchlist.

That's why I keep a close eye on the platform's charts and whittle the Netflix top 10 shows list down to just three picks that I think are most deserving of your time every week. That way, you can skip the scrolling when you're searching for your next show, as you've always got a ready-made list of watchlist-worthy picks ready to go.

Right now, my picks include a new teen drama, a chilling horror series, and a spirited, action-packed live-action anime/manga adaptation. You can find more info about all three picks below, alongside a full rundown of everything that's in the Netflix top 10 shows list right now.

Note: This article is based on the Netflix U.S. top 10 as of Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Best shows in the Netflix top 10

'One Piece: Into the Grand Line'

I'm a huge fan of Netflix's live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's legendary "One Piece" series, and I'm glad to see that the series has continued to cling to a spot in the streamer's charts since it returned for "Into the Grand Line" in early March. This swashbuckling second installment sees the show getting bigger and better, in my eyes, and I'd definitely recommend the whole show to anyone looking for adventure.

Almost three years after this version of Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his Straw Hat crew set sail, "One Piece: Into the Grand Line" sees them embarking on even bigger adventures in even deadlier waters. The Grand Line harbors danger at every turn, and as they continue to search for Gold Roger's ultimate treasure, the crew meet new pals, dock at strange new islands, and cross paths with formidable new foes.

'Something Very Bad is Going To Happen'

"Something Very Bad is Going to Happen" is a new horror series produced by the Duffer Brothers, and it's continued to be one of the streamer's top watches ever since it dropped at the end of March.

Haley Z. Boston's is pitched as an "atmospheric horror series" that takes us down the aisle alongside Rachel (Camila Morrone) and Nicky (Adam DiMarco), in the run-up to their wedding. The happy couple is due to tie the knot in just five days when we meet them. In the lead-up, Rachel sets off on a road trip to Nicky's family vacation home, but she's prone to feelings of paranoia.

And if that title didn't give it away already: yes, Rachel's superstitions are well-placed. "Something Very Bad is Going to Happen" is really good at creating that uneasy feeling of anticipation, and if you're looking for a scare or two, it's definitely worth checking out.

'XO, Kitty'

Teen drama fans have sent "XO, Kitty" up through the charts once again; the latest season of the "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" spinoff show only debuted on April 2, but it's currently sitting in second place in Netflix's streaming charts. This third season sees Kitty (Anna Cathcart) returning to KISS for her senior year, and she's got big plans to make it a perfect year: make memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, make some decisions about her future and define her relationship with Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee). Alas, when some surprises derail those plans, she's got to learn to embrace the unexpected.

In our "XO, Kitty" season 3 review, writer Josh Bell said the new season "rebounds" from "a somewhat disappointing second season," adding: "The third season of “XO, Kitty” continues the upbeat storytelling and engaging character dynamics of the previous seasons, with a renewed focus on the setting at an international school in Seoul."
