Best laptop deals for Black Friday 2024 from Dell, HP and more

When there is a major event that calls for fast refreshing fingers, whether it’s securing your place at Glastonbury or Oasis’ long-anticipated reunion, you can really see what your tech is made of.

Those with the latest in computing power and super-fast internet connections make light work of logging in, nabbing one of the sought-after tickets and getting on with the rest of the day happy and regret-free. For the rest of us who are met with the spinning wheel of doom and queue positions to dishearten even the most diehard of fans, we curse our lagging laptops.

Best laptop deals:

If you want to sit in the former camp, you need to upgrade your PC. Not only will it serve you well at your favourite band’s next tour announcement, but hybrid workers will see the benefits on a daily basis.

Whether you spend your time poring over spreadsheets, editing videos or browsing the web, your screen time should not be met with frequent switches on and off to solve your ever-increasing computing problems.

Laptops are traditionally expensive purchases so we understand any reluctance to splash out on a new model but Black Friday is coming and there is no better time to fork out for a new device.

For work, streaming or gaming, you will find the biggest laptop brands on the market reducing the price tags on their PCs.

Black Friday deals can be found across a whole host of tech items - TVs, game consoles, headphones, smartwatches, tablets and more - as well as household essentials like mixers, coffee machines and food processors. Don’t miss out on the fashion and beauty favourites too.

Why ES Best can be trusted

At ES Best, we have long made it our mission to secure you the very best deal. Only the most high-performance laptops with worthy discounts will make it onto this list - and we will constantly be updating as they roll through.

From the latest in the Microsoft Surface series to Apple’s MacBooks, you will find attractive price tags on the most high-performance laptops on the market. See deals at Amazon, John Lewis, Currys and more.

When is Black Friday 2024?

November 29 is the date to mark in your diary. This commences the official event but you may see some early bird deals as early as November 1.

When does Black Friday end?

While the event may be as long as the entire month of November, the official Black Friday extravaganza kicks off on Friday, while the curtain is drawn on December 2. This date is known as Cyber Monday and used to be associated with tech bargains but is now known as the final day to snap up the bargains.

Why is it called Black Friday?

Black Friday is a US import that takes place the day after Americans celebrate Thanksgiving. It was said to have been given this name after an influx of tourists arrived in Philadelphia to participate in the start of the shopping season. There are rumours of other origin stories, however, including workers calling in sick after the big turkey meal the day prior.
