From TVs, to smartwatches, Black Friday will get the technophiles among you ready and rearing to checkout on the items you’ve been eyeing up since their launch.
But there’s one category that, more than any other, attracts the most attention and this means when a good bargain comes in, you have to snap it up.
We are, of course, talking about laptops. The humble laptop has become the most important tech item in the hybrid worker’s arsenal, taking on new life past the casual streaming and shopping that dominated its use in pre-Covid times.
Now the speed of our laptop directly correlates to our productivity so if you’ve been experiencing tech issues, now is the time to update - and why is that? Well, it’s the Black Friday sales.
What is Black Friday?
Each year, on the fourth Friday of November (the day after Thanksgiving), retailers and brands across the world take the opportunity to slash the prices on their various wares. Whether it’s tech - that is typically the most sought-after items, or mattresses, beauty or fashion, there is rarely a label out there that doesn’t offer some level of bargain throughout the mega sales event.
When is Black Friday 2022? When is Cyber Monday 2022?
Black Friday is taking place on November 25 this year, throughout the weekend and on to Monday that is known as Cyber Monday. The latter is on November 28. But many brands have started the sale already and you can snap up a pre-event bargain right now.
What were the best deals from Black Friday weekend last year?
There were reductions on laptops from Apple, Microsoft, ASUS, Lenovo, HP and many more during last year’s event with £200 off Microsoft Surface, Acer gaming devices and £110 off the Apple MacBook Air.
What kinds of deals can we expect this year?
No laptop label is immune from some level of discount.
