Best iPhone deals: Discounts on refurbished and new handsets including the 15 Pro

Is your battery life not making it through the day? Are relentless notifications about storage space hindering your ability to take pro snaps? Are the simplest of tasks taking an age to load?

If you’ve answered a despondent yes to the above, it's probably time for a phone upgrade.

Apple's iPhones seem to slow down to a snail's pace right before the unveiling of a new handset. Yet, whether you're a loyal fan of the Cupertino-based brand or find the display familiar and thus easiest to use, you will likely replace your handset with a newer iteration. But unfortunately, the price tag can put a dampener on new phone excitement.

The quartet of 16 handsets have bigger batteries and longer battery lives. The progressed A18 chip promises faster processing and there are new buttons. The customisable Action Button shortcut from the 15 is available on the full 16 family and is joined by the viral touchpad-like Camera Control. With differing pressure or by swiping, it will open the camera, take pictures, adjust shooting modes or zoom. A newcomer means the four iPhone 15, larger iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will all be heavily discounted.

But look, marketing and minute tech details aside, the phone hasn't changed massively since the 13. If your current phone is slowing you down, you can snap up a high-powered older model that can do the job just as efficiently at a fraction of the cost, whether you prefer your tech box-fresh or refurbished. You can find great deals on unlocked models at Amazon, eBay and Backmarket.

In this article, which we will constantly update, we handpick bargains on the entirety of the iPhone collection, from the latest iPhone 15 to the older 12. These are cost-of-living-friendly prices on one of the most in-demand brands in the world. You really can't afford not to check it out.

Apple iPhone SE (2022)

Best for: affordable Apple

  • Battery size: 2,018mAh
  • Display size and resolution: 4.7in, 750x1334 resolution ISP display
  • Refresh rate: 60Hz
  • Operating System: iOs 15

While there’s always cheaper and more function-packed phones out there, Apple remains a firm favourite among many consumers. While they might not normally be known for the affordability of their smartphones, Apple’s iPhone SE (2022) has bucked that trend.

Despite its teeny tiny battery, this handset uses extremely efficient processing chips to ensure that it lasts a lot longer than you might expect - although it’s unlikely to go for more than a full day with moderate usage. This third-generation phone also includes the A15 Bionic, the same chip used in the iPhone 13, ensuring punchy power.

It’s rated 1P67 for water and dust resistance (meaning it can spend up to 30 minutes in a metre of water without damage) and the 12 MP camera takes decent daytime photos but struggles in low light. It also comes with Apple Pay as standard and 5G connectivity.

Sure, there are more powerful phones that are cheaper, but if it has be Apple and you’re on a budget, then the iPhone SE (2022) will do the trick.
