If you have been reading articles recently about air fryers and slow cookers as ways of both saving money on your energy bills, and as a way of cooking more healthily or more conveniently, you may feel that you have to have one or both of these gadgets in your home.
Well, there’s a new kid on the block (actually, these have ben around for years) and it’s called the halogen oven. Just like an air fryer, they use less oil when cooking, sit on your counter and use around 75 per cent less energy than your main oven. They are also known as a halogen convection oven or a halogen cooking pot.
