Best Fantasy Football waiver wire pickups for Week 14

After the 13th full slate of regular season action, the fantasy football season is wrapping up for most.

If you had a tough injury in Week 13, or you just didn’t get the production from one of your players that you expected, we’ll scan the waiver wire. For potential pickups, we’ll consider players who are available in at least 50% of ESPN fantasy leagues.

Let’s take a look at some of the potential waiver wire pickups that could help your teams heading into Week 14 of the NFL campaign.

QB Jake Browning, QB, Cincinnati Bengals (11.9%)

It’s tough to rely on a backup quarterback this late in the season, but Browning has been solid since entering for Joe Burrow in Week 11.

In his first two starts, he’s completed 81% of his passes with two touchdowns and one interception.

With Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins as his primary weapons, Browning could be a serviceable streaming option this week.

Ezekiel Elliott, RB, New England Patriots (34%)

The Patriots haven’t done much right this year, but signing Elliott in training camp has worked out well. He’s been a solid contributor to the backfield that’s been led by Rhamondre Stevenson.

Now, with Stevenson suffering an ankle injury in Week 13, Elliott may be getting the bulk of the touches. This late in the season, it’s tough to find a starting running back, so Elliott could be a lottery ticket until Stevenson is back.

Noah Brown, WR, Houston Texans (34.5%)

The Texans have had a trio of wide receivers that’s been tough to decipher who is going to explode each week. Unfortunately, rookie Tank Dell suffered a season-ending injury that will make Nico Collins and Noah Brown the top two targets for C.J. Stroud.

Brown popped off in Weeks 9 and 10, totaling 51.5 points in those two games. Without Dell taking away some of those opportunities, he could get back to those numbers.

Isaiah Likely, TE, Baltimore Ravens (31.8%)

Baltimore is still without Mark Andrews after their Week 13 bye, so Likely will still be the team’s top tight end.

In his first game as the starter, he recorded eight fantasy points (four catches for 40 yards on six targets). As he becomes more comfortable in the offense, and Lamar Jackson becomes more comfortable throwing to him, he should take on a larger role.

Packers, D/ST (24.5%)

The Packers have been in the dead middle of the league this year in terms of fantasy production (16th overall – 6.1 points per game).

However, in Week 14 they’ll take on the New York Giants led by Tommy DeVito on Monday night. That should be enough to help to make them a streaming option for now.
