Eurovision Song Contest legend Cheryl Baker says last night's show was the best for years.
Cheryl, who won the contest in 1981 with pop foursome Bucks Fizz, was one of millions of viewers who tuned in to last night's extravaganza in Turin, Italy. Though UK singer Sam Ryder topped the leader board after a panel of 40 countries gave their votes, Ukraine's entry won after the public's vote was added on.
Cheryl, who says she is 'still ripping her skirt off' with fellow performers Mike and Jay in the now named Fizz, tweeted: "Wasn’t this the best Eurovision for years? Not just because the brilliant Sam Ryder came 2nd, but it was a show of love, joy, inclusivity and no animosity. If only the world acted like the ESC. It would be a kinder, happier, safer place."

BBC Points West anchorwoman Alex Lovell, another avid viewer, tweeted: "Oh Sam Ryder nailed it. Just such a wonderful vocal. Well done lovely man."
Plenty of people have been tweeting their reactions to the marathon music show.
N-Trance said: "The Ukraine won as we want the people of Russia to see what is going on. It’s their future at stake & not an old man’s that is ruining theirs. "Sam won the professional vote, the public of Europe wanted to send a message. I’m sure Sam is more than cool with that."
Michael Roots posted: "Eurovision as political as ever. Rest of Europe suddenly voting for UK as they now need our help to fight a war. Funny that."
Daniel Webb said: "If Ukraine can't host (and no1 is able to predict how the very sad situation in Ukraine will pan out in a year) then 2nd place gets second refusal. In which circumstance I'd luv u to b a host next year (although I know u'd dearly luv for Ukraine to be able to host it themselves)
And Law1990 posted: "I think we can finally stop saying uk never get points down to politics. It's down to having absolute rubbish representing us at Eurovision. Keep sending actual talented people with a good song and we have a chance ."
