The Easter eggs are being hidden and the kids are probably bored during the school holidays so now is the time to plan the activities.
The long Easter weekend is just a week away, with many having four days off to celebrate the occassion, likely spending time with friends and family. Good Friday is always the Friday before Easter Sunday and this year will be on April 7.
In a bid to keep the children entertained and make sure you use that time off wisely, we have put together a list of the Easter events taking place across Leeds.

There are a number of craft activities, Easter egg hunts, petting zoos and shows being put on throughout the Easter season. Below is a list of the biggest ones across the city and surrounding area.
Abbey House Museum Easter Fun
Abbey House Museum in Kirkstall will be hosting a range of family activities across the Easter period. There will be grocer bunnies weighing carrots, bunny barmaids pulling pints, snow bunnies and a counting competition.
For the kids, there will also be a number of trails and scavenger hunts as well as crafts.
Easter at Swarthmore Educational Centre
Swarthmore Educational centre are holding two workshops over the Easter holidays. Tickets cost £15 per child and the activities are aimed at five to 11 year olds.
Your ticket will include all materials, a drink and a cookie. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop, there will only be 10 spaces per event.
Easter at Harewood
During the Easter Holidays, discover the story of how Red Kites were reintroduced to Harewood, with kite-making workshops and outdoor activities to reconnect children and families with nature.
You can also make your own kite, hunt for giant eggs and fly a real Red Kite.
Easter at Temple Newsam
Temple Newsam has two weeks of activities planned including trails and family crafts across the estate. There is a new outside exhibition and feathered friends hidden around the house.
Home Farm will be open for children to see the springtime baby lambs, piglets and chicks.
Leeds Playhouse at Easter
Rapunzel is headed to the Leeds Playhouse for Easter. The fairy tale features a story written by former Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy, music from award-winning Doctor Who composer Murray Gold and costumes from Michele Clapton of The Crown, Mamma Mia and Game of Thrones.
Lotherton Hall
Take part in crafts at the dedicated activity stations where you can explore your senses, help wildlife, make dens and embrace nature. There will also be the chance to explore exhibitions in the hall where you can uncover the history of the Gascoignes in Homes of the Gascoignes, and discover Cotton Connections in the fashion galleries.
Tropical World
There are new arrivals at Tropical World this Easter, including porcupines, Argentine Black and White Tegu and Pygmy Marmosets, the world's smallest monkey. There will also be Emperor Tamarins a species of monkey known for their long moustaches.
Medieval Easter
The Royal Armouries are hosting a Medieval Easter over the Bank Holiday weekend. Three teams will take part in a jousting tournament to battle for honour and trophies, admission to the museum is free but tickets must be booked for the tournament.
Easter Egg decorating workshop Trinity
Trinity Shopping Centre in Leeds will be hosting an Easter egg decorating workshop as well as a range of maths games, puzzles and exhibits. Tickets start from £4.50 for a child and £6.50 for adults.
Leeds City Museum Animals' Wild Escape
Leeds City Museum will host an imaginary world of museum animals trying to escape the exhibits. Children will be able to do various crafts starting from Tuesday making pictures of the animals that are escaping.
