Best blended Scotch whisky 'in the world' crowned in time for Christmas

A whisky from a family-run distillery has been crowned the top blended Scotch whisky at The Scottish Whisky Awards.

Jackton Distillery won the coveted Gold Award for the best blended Scotch whisky at the awards in Edinburgh for its RAER Oloroso Expression Blended Whisky, officially making it the best in the world.

The whisky was voted on by a panel of expert judges as the best of the best in a blind taste test.
