Expert-approved air fryer deals:

The air fryer hype shows no signs of slowing down. When they first came on the scene a few years ago, I thought they were a gimmick. They seemed like a fad that would quickly fall out of fashion.

Years later - and dozens of air fryer reviews later - I have to concede that these appliances are life changers; I use mine every day. They make it quick and easy to cook a huge range of different foods with less oil than frying or roasting.

I've been a product tester for years. I've tried dozens of air fryers, so I know firsthand which products are worth your time - and which are fairly priced and offer genuine discounts. The rest of the team is the same, with dozens of air fryers under their belts. Most importantly, air fryer expert Lydia Hayman is even a trained chef, and vets all our reviews. Every air fryer on this page has been recommended by a professional.

Black Friday deals are already here, and so far this year is much better than the last. Many of our favorite air fryers are already cheaper than they were last Black Friday. We track prices throughout the year, so we know which too-good-to-be-true deals are lies and which are actually worth your money. If you need a good air fryer deal, you'll find it here.

Best Black Friday Air Fryer Deals

Want to jump right to the deals? Here's what we're seeing so far:

Our favorite air fryer deals

After trawling through thousands of deals, this is the best deal we've seen so far, and a few others worth considering.

Hi everyone. My name is Alex and I'll be covering the best live air fryer deals with Chef Lydia as they happen. I've tested air fryers for years for several magazines, so I've seen dozens of models and watched carefully as the prices have fluctuated.

This is my sixth Black Friday covering appliance deals. In recent years, Black Friday has seen some disappointing sales, but we're already seeing better prices this year than last year, so you can actually save some money on the best air fryers.

First up, one of our old favorites is now ridiculously cheap. We love this air fryer. It's fast, compact, and simple. It won't steam your veggies or tell you the doneness of your meat like fancier air fryers, but it's perfect for throwing in some frozen fries for a quick dinner after work.

Air fryers vs toaster ovens - what's the difference?

These appliances seem very similar, but there are actually some differences between the two.

Air fryers suspend food in a basket to rapidly cook food. It's like a miniature oven. A toaster oven works more like a miniature broiler.

Air fryers claim to have lots of different functions, but they're usually some form of air frying (roasting and baking functions almost always use the same heating program as air frying).

Toaster ovens tend to have more genuine functions, like warming and slow cooking.

These days lots of toaster ovens have an air fryer function, too. For maximum versatility, I'd opt for a toaster oven, but air fryers tend to be cheaper.

For example, compare these two appliances, both on sale for Black Friday:

I've just found a great deal for British readers - a Ninja Foodi two-drawer air fryer at the lowest price I've ever seen.

Our pick for the best non-toxic air fryer is also on sale. It has a stainless-steel basket with none of the PFOA concerns of other air fryers. It blew us away on test; it's technically a multicooker, but the air fryer is so good that it's like an air fryer with a ridiculous amount of bonus features. If you want an air fryer that can also slow cook, sous-vide, and even make yogurt, this is the one.

Hello everyone, my name is Lydia. I'm a trained chef and air fryer tester, working alongside our Black Friday expert, Alex, to find live deals on air fryers that I recommend.

I fell in love with air frying when working as a recipe tester and editor for a healthy food company. I'm a busy person, so I use my air fryer every day to make quick breakfasts, lunches, and healthy dinners with less oil.

I'm here to provide buying advice and help you choose the right air fryer deal, so you won't find yourself looking for a replacement in the sales next year.

If you're looking for air fryers under $100, I've got some solid options for you.

Firstly, look at Cosori; I rate this as the best value brand. They don't offer viewing windows or the most exciting features, but their core range of air fryers always performs excellently in the test kitchen. The cooking performance is quick, very crispy, and easy to control - thanks to their intuitive interface. This hits my brief when I'm testing the best air fryers.

I've found a great deal on the 6QT model, which I've detailed below. It's large enough for a family-sized serving of vegetables, 2 lbs of French fries, or four portions of chicken thighs. This Cosori is usually priced above $100, but it's much cheaper in the Black Friday sales.

Otherwise, you'll want to look out for a small or 'mini' air fryer. These won't suit families, but they're a good option for individuals or couples looking for lower air fryer prices. I'll keep you updated on the best small air fryer deals, so stay tuned.

I'm back with another deal. I just found this generous discount on Ninja's smallest air fryer. The traditional black colorway is sold out, but I actually really like the white option (I'm not so convinced about the bright red and blue...)

The round, 4QT basket is best suited to couples or individuals. This size can fit two portions of salmon, some French fries, or vegetables. I recommended this deal to my sister, as she's a student who is short on time and space.

Good morning, everyone. It's Alex, Head of eCommerce here at H&G, back to bring you more of the very best air fryer deals, all vetted by expert chef Lydia.

I said yesterday that Black Friday is better this year, and that's proven true overnight; there have been further price drops on some of our top-rated air fryers. It seems like there isn't much interest from the public this year and retailers are starting to make big price cuts to drive sales.

I'll be trawling through all the big retailers - live - to see what else has shifted.

First up, a 20% drop on =our favorite air fryer, now at the lowest price we've ever seen. It may not drop further on Black Friday, and I suspect that the price may rise on the actual day. If you want the best possible deal on the very best air fryer, I'd buy this now.

Ninja vs Instant Pot - which is a better two-drawer air fryer?

If you asked us last year, we would've given the win to Instant Pot. The Instant Pot Vortex Plus XL is an incredibly efficient two-drawer air fryer, the two-drawer version of the Instant Vortex Plus, our favorite air fryer.

But Ninja snatched the crown with the DoubleStack. It offers more food in a sleeker countertop footprint. It can nestle between cookbooks and cereal boxes in a way that the Instant air fryer can't. That's unbeatable.

There's very little difference between the two for cooking quality, though the Ninja is slightly faster.

For more information on these deals, take a look at this comparison table.

Coming in hot with a celebrity endorsement, we've got a $30 discount on Brooke Shields' air fryer. I've shopped around Target and Walmart but I found the deepest discount on Amazon.

Some of the best air fryers are multipurpose machines. Here's my favorite countertop oven from KitchenAid, now with a $60 discount at Amazon.

I've just spotted a deep discount on one of the best air fryers for beginners. With a four-quart capacity, the Instant Essentials Air Fryer is slightly on the smaller side, but ideally sized for small families. Plus, it's super-easy and intuitive to use.

What makes an air fryer toxic?

As a trained chef and H&G's resident Kitchens Editor, I'm often asked: 'are air fryers toxic?' My research shows that air fryers can be toxic if you ingest some of non-stick coating, but only if that coating is damaged by scrubbing or scratching. I suggest you steer clear of non-stick chemicals, such as PTFE, PFOA, PFOS, and BPA, in favor of ceramic and stainless steel.

For your peace of mind, I've ranked and reviewed six of the best non-toxic air fryers. One of my favorites is listed for less on Amazon this Black Friday. Last night, the Instant Pot Duo Crisp was selling for $149.95, but now that deal has dropped by another $50 to $99.94.

If you're working with limited counter space, or you're stuck in a small kitchen, then you need a smaller air fryer. The Instant Vortex Slim is designed to fit in narrow nooks, though it's deceptively capacious.

What is a French door air fryer?

A French door air fryer looks a lot like a French door refrigerator in miniature: double doors with two vertical handles in the middle for easy access. A French door air fryer tends to be large and long, taking up about as much counter space as a convection oven.

Double doors means more glass and greater visibility, so it's easier to monitor your food and make sure you don't overcook it. I've tested dozens of air fryers, and I prefer French doors for kitchen safety: you're less likely to burn your wrists and forearms when you open the doors.

If you're catering for a large family, or you want to make bigger portions to eat now or save for later, then you need a bigger air fryer. This dual-basket model makes crispy fries and tender veg and reheats frozen food just right.

Air fryer accessories – how to make the most of your air fryer

Recently, I compiled a kitchen gift guide for the holidays and I tracked down all the little extras that make air-fried food taste that much better.

I know it's called 'air frying', but my fries come out crispier when I use a little bit of olive oil. I don't pour it straight into the basket: that would defeat the entire point of air frying. Instead, I spray a few squirts of olive oil onto the bottom of the basket to help my food retain moisture and stop it from sticking to the basket.

For quick and convenient clean-up, I like to use air fryer liners for single-serve breakfasts and desserts. I use silicone liners, because they're reusable, and easy to clean in a bowl of warm, soapy water.

That's me signing off for the night. I'll be back in the morning, checking all the prices on the hottest products, and bringing you the best air fryer deals before the Black Friday rush.

Morning, everyone. Chef Lydia here back to bring you more of the best air fryer deals.

Yesterday, I said that Black Friday deals are looking a lot better than last year's, in terms of breadth of deals and depth of discounts. That's still true, but I didn't notice a big drop in prices overnight. The price on the world's best air fryer, the Instant Vortex Plus, has actually risen in the last few hours (only by a few cents, though, and it's still a steal).

Often, the bigger the air fryer, the more expensive it is. You're paying for enhanced cooking capacity and maybe a few more cooking pre-sets or special features. That's why you should always snap up a discount on a large air fryer when you see one. This deal went live in the UK yesterday, and now it's available for our US readers.

You'll get more from your money this Black Friday when you shop a multipurpose machine. As a trained chef, I appreciate the versatility of something like the Ninja Combi Multicooker. It comes with no fewer than 14 functions: you can cook rice, sear steak, steam vegetables, and proof bread in this thing.

Ninja vs Cosori - who makes the best air fryers?
We think Ninja makes better air fryers. Our favorite Ninjas are faster, cooks more food, and have more functions. However, lots of Cosori air fryers have an Alexa connection, so if that kind of functionality is important to you, I'd go with Cosori.

However, Cosori has seen several issues in the past few years. Which? recently claimed that their air fryers collect personal data, and last year, millions of Cosori air fryers were recalled.

If you're prepared to sacrifice some functionality, I've just caught a great deal on one of our favorite non-toxic air fryers. It's an older model, but it's still a great appliance.

One of the best ways to save money is to buy refurbished old appliances. They're often just as good as newer models, but you can save a lot of money.

Not every deal out there can be a door-buster. It pays off to do your research. As an example, I just spotted a huge discount on the Fritaire Self-Cleaning Air Fryer, but all is not as it seems.

One of the best ways to save money on air fryer deals is to size down. Air fryers can hold a surprising amount of food, so you don't always need that 10-quart behemoth. Sometimes, a smaller air fryer works just as well while saving you more money.

As things stand, I'm finding that the biggest discounts are on the smaller versions of our favorite air fryers. Case in point:

I'm heading out for the night now - thanks so much for following along. I'll leave you with a deal - I've just caught that the Instant Omni air fryer is now on offer:
