During a recent interview, Sen. Bernie Sanders emphasized the importance of President Joe Biden clearly demonstrating his support for working families in the United States. Sanders urged Biden to unequivocally declare his alignment with workers, highlighting Biden's past actions in solidarity with laborers. Notably, Biden made history as the first president to stand alongside striking workers on a picket line, a gesture that Sanders commended.

Referencing a specific instance from last fall, Sanders recalled Biden's participation in a picket line at a General Motors facility in Michigan during a significant autoworkers strike. In contrast, Sanders criticized former President Donald Trump for appointing individuals to his administration who were perceived as anti-union and anti-worker.
