The Indianapolis Colts used the No. 77 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft to select offensive tackle Bernhard Raimann in hopes he can compete for the starting left tackle spot during training camp.
Raimann signed his four-year rookie deal with the team before the start of OTAs. Now, we have the details of that contract via Spotrac.
The four-year rookie deal is worth $5,301,962 and includes a $1,035,972 signing bonus, all of which is guaranteed at signing.
Raimann will carry base salaries of $705,000 (2022), $945,998 (2023), $1,186,997 (2024) and $1,427,995 (2025).
It will be interesting to see how the battle at left tackle goes for Raimann as he competes with veterans Matt Pryor and Danny Kelly during OTAs and training camp.
We may be a bit too far away to predict his role, but we know there is a world where he’s the starting left tackle in Week 1 if his showings at training camp and the preseason are strong enough.
