Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva was quick to praise Phil Foden after the Englishman scored again in the 2-0 victory over Newcastle United.
Foden got City off to the perfect start on Saturday afternoon giving the Blues an early lead. The 22-year-old showed he was full of confidence as he weaved through the Magpies' defence before his deflected effort evaded Nick Pope.
City rode their luck at times and were fortunate that both Callum Wilson and Joelinton squandered opportunities to score. With just more than 20 minutes remaining Bernardo made the visitors pay.
