Bernardo Silva has made his intentions to leave Manchester City for Barcelona this summer clear, according to reports in Spain.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a switch to the Nou Camp throughout the summer, having played a key part for City last season. Silva was heavily touted for an exit from the Etihad a couple of years ago, but has since gone on to help the Blues to back-to-back titles.
According to Spanish outlet SPORT though, Silva could now be closing in on a departure. The report claims the Portugal international has made it clear to his agent Jorge Mendes that he wants to make the switch to Barcelona.

The midfielder is under contract until 2025 with City, with Pep Guardiola said to be keen to retain his services this summer. The Blues are reported to have slapped a €100m (£86m) price tag on Silva as they try and ward Barca off a potential deal.
The Catalan giants, though, are said to be hopeful of reducing the price by as much as €40m (£34.4m). Their hopes could rest on whether they’re able to raise funds from the sale of Frenkie de Jong to Manchester United.
Elsewhere, Chelsea are reportedly set for more talks with City as they try to secure a deal for Raheem Sterling. The England international has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge since the window opened, having left the door open for a potential exit last season.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs held positive talks on Friday, and Chelsea are now waiting for the final details from both the player and City in order to complete the deal. It’s also suggested that Thomas Tuchel has targeted Sterling since day one of the transfer window.
