Benny Blanco has released his new track, Bad Decisions, with BTS and Snoop Dogg. But that’s not all. He has also released an accompanying music video and just ten hours after its premiere, the clip has already garnered over seven million views.
The trending four-minute video has Benny Blanco as a BTS superfan, and the premise is that it is the day of a BTS concert. Blanco wakes up 13 hours before the concert – we know this because at regular intervals text flashes across the scene counting down the hours.
Blanco the superfan gets dressed, dances in front of a huge screen of BTS, bakes a BTS cake and makes a poster, before driving to the concert. He breaks, the cake splats against the window, he abandons the car and runs to the show. The twist? The fan is 28 hours early, but of course, he chooses to wait to stay at the front of the queue.
The newly shared track sees American record producer Blanco collaborate with Jin, Jimin, V and Jung Kook from the Korean super-band. Snoop Dogg also joins Blanco in the music video, rapping in his car.

Despite the title’s negative connotations, the song brings up anything but bad feelings – it’s breezy and feel-good and runs more along the lines of Snoop’s understanding of bad: in his verse he says, “It’s bad meaning bad, like bad meaning good.”
And fans of the song can look forward to more coming soon. Today’s single is just a taster as Blanco is set to release his third album later this year.
Blanco had teased the collaboration back in July, saying: “I’m still pinching myself” about the star-studded features.
But Bad Decisions is by no means Blanco’s first big-name collaboration: he has previously worked with Justin Bieber, J Balvin, Selena Gomez, Calvin Harris and Miguel. The producer has also been nominated for ten Grammy awards and a Golden Globe Award.

Perhaps in anticipation of today’s release, perhaps because he is a genuine fan, or perhaps for both reasons, Blanco has been sharing the news that he is a BTS devotee online for some time. In April he tweeted a photo of himself alongside the K-Pop group saying, “did i just join the band…”
Then in late May, he posted another BTS reference. This time he shared a humorous TikTok video which concluded with the singer writing over photos of the band members on the app: “Basically the moral of the story is that I really love BTS.”
In May the singer also remixed the three BTS songs Fake Love, Life Goes On, and Blood Sweat and Tears into one long medley. The songs had been chosen by BTS’ “Army” – the official name given to their fanbase.
