Benjamin Sesko's 2023 move to RB Leipzig has seemingly helped Chelsea secure their man, with Christopher Nkunku move to Stamford Bridge now looking likely.
Sesko, 19, will move to the Bundesliga for the start of the 23/24 campaign, with Leipzig already one step ahead by securing a replacement for Nkunku's switch.
Chelsea are said to have completed part of Nkunku's medical ahead of his summer move to the Premier League, seeing off stiff competition from other European powerhouses along the way.

The 24-year-old did extend his contract with Marco Rose's side just months ago, after an impressive campaign in German's top flight last year.
Sesko however has also seen Premier League clubs keeping tabs on him, with Manchester United known to be a keen admirer before his switch to Red Bull sister club in Germany from Austria.
Now, with a seeming £56million release clause in place for Graham Potter's side left to trigger, football.london understands that Ted Boehly has secured one of the clubs long-term transfer targets in Nkunku.
Already adding stars such as Raheem Sterling, Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana to their ranks, Potter will attempt to bring cohesion to a squad that has been largely been reshuffled this summer.
In Nkunku, the club will have a player capable of both scoring and creating goals in key areas, something the Blues have failed to muster much of so far this campaign.
Finding the net just 8 times in 6 matches, the France international has already registered six goals and an assist during the 22/23 season for the German side.
