Bengaluru: Valuables worth Rs 10 lakh stolen from goldsmith’s house

BENGALURU: Burglars targeted a goldsmith’s residence at Basavanapura, near KR Puram, earlier this week and stole 206 grams of gold, 1.5kg of silver articles, LED TV and six silk sarees, together worth around Rs 10 lakh.

The victim is Satish JS, owner of Vinayaka Jewellers in KR Puram. The family had gone to Ambur in Tamil Nadu on May 14.

When Satish returned home around 2.30pm on May 16, he found the main door broken and valuables missing. Police collected fingerprints and other proof from the house and are on the hunt for the burglars.
