BENGALURU: The email sent to a city school with a hoax bomb threat on Sunday evening was the handiwork of a class 10 student of the institution, police said.
Cops detained the boy on Tuesday to record his statement. The student claimed the school was about to conduct the first-semester exam from July 21 and he was not prepared for it. He thought the management might put off the exam if he sent a bomb threat. He took his father's laptop and created an email ID ([email protected]), using the name of actor Huccha Venkat.
