Bengaluru: Only 1 train to KIA halt station now; Memu services elusive

MEMU Bengaluru KIA SWR BIAL Kempegowda International Airport KPTCL

BENGALURU: The much-hyped suburban train services to and from Kempegowda International Airport appear to have derailed.

South Western Railway operated five pairs of trains a day to and from KIA halt station when it was inaugurated on January 4, 2021. At present, only one pair (06387/06388 Bengaluru-Kolar-Bengaluru) is operational.
