Bengaluru: MetroRide plans to rope in women bike taxi riders

BENGALURU: With concerns over the safety of women travelling in bike taxis, especially after the recent sexual assault case, a Bengaluru-based startup is planning to rope in female riders (captains).

Girish Nagpal, CEO and founder of MetroRide, said: “We have applied for the bike-taxi permit at Jayanagar RTO. They have sought more clarifications and we’ll soon respond".
