Bengaluru: Man from Ethiopia with monkeypox symptoms isolated

BENGALURU: An Ethiopian man, who arrived in Bengaluru a few weeks ago for kidney treatment, has been isolated after he developed monkeypox-like symptoms.

The health and family welfare department is awaiting his test report from the viral research and diagnostic laboratory at BMCRI, Bengaluru. Officials have also identified 18 contacts of the patient.
