Bengaluru: Fear of coconuts keeps these residents on their toes

BENGALURU: Some parts of the city suffer from stray dog menace, while others live in fear of rowdies, but an old and central area of Bengaluru - Madhavraya Mudaliar Road (MM Road) in Fraser Town - has been witnessing a peril of a different kind.

Dried coconuts from a dozen towering trees have been crashing on vehicles and fruit carts out of the blue, at times missing pedestrians by a whisker.
