Bengaluru: Doctor wins Rs 35,000 relief, refund after futile slimming sessions

BENGALURU: A slimming clinic in Bengaluru was ordered to refund the fee collected from a doctor and also pay her Rs 35,000 as compensation for the trauma and physical trouble she underwent during a weight loss treatment that bore no result.

At the end of 13 tummy tuck and body firming sessions, the 39-year-old paediatrician’s waistline remained the same and she lost just 1 kg.
