BENGALURU: The Chikkaballapur incident in which the owner of a Re 1 coin was cheated of Rs 26 lakh by online fraudsters is not an isolated case. Bengaluru city police have registered at least three such cases in the last four months and the accused remain untraced.
Like Aravind who walked into a trap, the other victims too had got carried away by the massive amounts offered by scamsters for old coins.
