Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins will end up being a game-time decision for the Week 6 encounter with the New Orleans Saints.
Higgins has been battling a sprained ankle that greatly limited him in Week 5. And while his official tag on the injury report is questionable, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor says it’s a little more complicated than that.
“(Higgins) could feel terrible tomorrow or ready to go or be either way Sunday. We just have to play it out,” Taylor said, per Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com.
Higgins has been the most important player for the Bengals offense this year with defenses going all out to start Ja’Marr Chase. He torched the Dolphins after suffering the injury, but could only suit up for 10 snaps in a loss to the Ravens a week later.
While the Saints have a ton of injuries across the board, the struggling Bengals offense won’t get out of a rut without him on the field, so the team has to hope the ankle responds well during warmups.
