Cincinnati Bengals 2023 first-round draft pick Myles Murphy was in Cincinnati Wednesday to throw out the first pitch at the Cincinnati Reds game.
The pitch from the southpaw Murphy missed the strike zone by quite a bit and was fully out of reach for the catcher behind the plate.
Luckily for the Bengals, throwing isn’t part of the job description for Murphy. That is going to remain Joe Burrow’s job.
Murphy must have been good luck for the Reds though, because they won their game 3-2 even though they have cooled down from their hot streak they had before the All-Star break.
Murphy seems to be warming up to the city of Cincinnati before the Bengals season starts.
Myles Murphy. Wicked slider.
