Former Ohio State Buckeyes passer C.J. Stroud, the second overall pick this year by the Houston Texans, recently had huge praise for Joe Burrow.
Not that long ago, Stroud said the Cincinnati Bengals passer was one of the best quarterbacks in the world. That’s reflected in new rankings Stroud gave the “Caps Off Podcast” recently.
There, Burrow sits third overall in Stroud’s rankings, which slot him behind only Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs. Burrow sits ahead of Josh Allen and Justin Fields.
Most rankings, sans Fields (although that could change very soon), seem to have the same mixture of guys throughout those spots right now.
As a fun aside, Burrow and Stroud’s Texans will meet in Week 10 for a mid-November matchup in Cincinnati this year.
Do you agree with C.J. Stroud? 👀
