There was no bigger headline during Week 1 of the season than New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffering that season-ending injury.
Naturally, it’s a question that came up around the Cincinnati Bengals when quarterback Joe Burrow hit the podium for his weekly presser.

“We’ve all been playing this game long enough. You’re going to have something like that happen to you. So that’s obviously really tough to see,” Burrow said, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “I know how excited they were to have him there and how excited he was to have a new start. Tough way to start off the year. So I’m feeling for him.” …
That Rodgers injury was one of many to shake up the outlook of the AFC, with Bengals rivals especially dealing with notable injuries in the season opener.
Burrow remained on the team’s injury report to start the week while practicing in full.
