Jake Browning, AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
It’s a sentence the majority of the NFL world thought unfathomable just a few days ago, yet it’s one that has come to fruition for the Cincinnati Bengals backup quarterback.
Browning received the honor on Wednesday, just two days removed from his steering the Bengals over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night via a 32-of-37 line for 354 yards and two total touchdowns.
The Bengals altered their offense rather dramatically in Browning’s second start in place of the injured Joe Burrow.
Now, one award in hand, Browning looks to lead the Bengals up the playoff seeding after suddenly reviving the team with a handful of games left.
