The NFL has announced offseason workout dates, which reveals some interesting things for the Cincinnati Bengals.
For starters, a look at the announced dates for the Bengals:
- First day: April 15
- OTAs: May 28-30, June 3-6
- Mandatory minicamp: June 11-13
As usual, the first phase is strength and conditioning with seven days of OTAs after, followed by the mandatory portion.
The Bengals are the lone team waiting until May 28 to get underway, with four more practices than last year. It’s a notable uptick for a coaching staff that has liked to keep things loose and wear and tear down.
Of note, Joe Burrow has said he expects to be back throwing full-go at some point during these workouts.
