Bengals offense finally came to life against Jets and left Quinnen Williams lashing out at a coach

If there was ever a game for the Cincinnati Bengals offense to get on track, it was Sunday’s Week 3 tilt with the New York Jets.

New York allowed 54 points through the first two weeks of the season and ranked near the bottom of the league in sacks with three in that span. As advertised, that defense was the remedy Cincy needed. The Bengals matched their season high of 20 points by halftime, and Joe Burrow threw for over 200 yards and two touchdowns.

Sometime after the second of those scores, a 56-yarder to Tyler Boyd late in the first quarter, Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams got into it with a coach on the sideline. And this thing was HEATED.

It’s probably safe to assume Williams was singled out for a blown play and didn’t appreciate it. Or he’s tired of the Jets defense being a pushover, and the frustration boiled over.

Whatever the case, they better pull it together soon. The live betting line at BetMGM was -13.5 after two quarters. The 20-9 halftime score can end up a lot worse.
