The Cincinnati Bengals announced a roster move on the Monday after the Week 4 win over the Carolina Panthers, which brought the team’s record to 1-3.
Cincinnati returned punter Brad Robbins to the active roster from the reserve/injured list.
Robbins might have entered the season as the starter had he been healthy. But the job instead went to rookie Ryan Rehkow, who set a record during his debut and has since performed at a high level.
Considering Rehkow’s performance was one of our top takeaways from the win the Panthers, it should be interesting to see what the Bengals do at the position now.
The Bengals had an extra roster spot available after sending Trent Brown to injured reserve. They could elect to keep the competition going, but could also have names like Myles Murphy on the way back from IR and needing roster spots, too.
