Burrow’s deal was reported at $275 million over five years, which adds to the back of his current rookie deal, keeping him in Cincinnati through the 2029 season. The reported $219 million in guarantees is $188 million more in guarantees than any player in franchise history has received.
The deal leapfrogs all other NFL quarterbacks and for the time being, makes him the highest-paid player in NFL history and one of the highest-paid players in all of professional sports.
