Let’s be honest here: Joseph Ossai’s late hit on Patrick Mahomes while the Kansas City Chiefs QB was already out of bounds was an awful, costly play.
Ossai knows that. And so did so many other people who showered him with love after watching him commit the penalty that ultimately helped his Cincinnati Bengals lose 23-20 to the Chiefs in the AFC title game.
His teammate, linebacker Germaine Pratt, didn’t hold back. In video captured of the Bengals returning to their Arrowhead Stadium locker room, Pratt yelled, “Why the [expletive] you touch the quarterback?”
He also responded on Instagram as the video went viral (WARNING: NSFW language ahead):
