Bengals expected to have big interest in free agents Ryan Jensen, Bradley Bozeman

Two names seem to keep coming up for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022 NFL free agency:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Ryan Jensen and Baltimore Ravens center Bradley Bozeman.

The latest to make the connection is Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network, who cites league sources as saying the Bengals are one of the teams set to have “serious interest” in both players.

Per the report, the Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets and others could join the fray.

One report already linked the Bengals to Bozeman, a 27-year-old former left guard who played well at center last year.

Jensen, a veteran center, has been linked to the Bengals a few times — PFF predicted they would sign him, then Adam “Pacman” Jones claimed the same thing.

Either would be an upgrade with Jensen likely moving Trey Hopkins out of the starting center spot or Bozeman potentially letting Hopkins stay in the middle while he goes back to left guard.

Either way, the emphasis will be on positional versatility and the Bengals having options as to how they upgrade four of the five spots. And these types of reports make it seem like the team will indeed be big spenders on the line.
