With star nose tackle DJ Reader lost for the season, the Cincinnati Bengals have found some help on the waiver wire before the Week 16 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Bengals claimed former Falcons defensive lineman Travis Bell off waivers on Wednesday.
A seventh-round pick by Chicago in 2023 out of Kennesaw State, Bell spent time with the Falcons before being released on December 19, playing his first NFL snaps in Week 14.
Josh Tupou, Zach Carter and Jay Tufele are the primary rotational guys who will attempt to fill the void left by Reader. The Bengals previously attempted to claim former Titans lineman Teair Tart earlier this week.
