Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan now has at least four chances at becoming a head coach this offseason.
Following the news that two more teams — the Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans — submitted requests to interview Callahan for their vacant head coaching spots, more clarity about the schedule emerged.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Callahan will talk with the Titans on Friday and then the Los Angeles Chargers next Tuesday.
Both the Carolina Panthers and Falcons also have requests in to Callahan as well, but that’s how the current schedule will unfold.
And at this point, given what the world saw with the Jake Browning-led offense this season, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see at least a fifth team join the fray on Callahan, which has quickly turned into a sweepstakes.
