Bengal fresh Covid cases below 11,000, positivity 16%

KOLKATA: The daily tally of fresh Covid infections in Bengal fell to 10,959 on Thursday even as the state’s test positivity rate dipped to 16. 27%.

Over 67,000 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

However, there were 37 deaths across the state. The number of cases in Kolkata dipped below the 2,000-mark to 1,759.
