Human highlights reel Izzy Borlase has spearheaded the Bendigo Spirit to a seventh consecutive WNBL victory, overcoming an almighty scare from the Geelong Venom to win 77-71.

The 21-year-old was typically busy, securing 29 points and eight rebounds to notch the side's seventh consecutive victory at the Geelong Arena on Saturday.
