Ben Stokes to start IPL purely as a batter for Chennai Super Kings, says Mike Hussey

NEW DELHI: In a big dent to Chennai Super Kings' IPL 2023 title aspirations, star all-rounder Ben Stokes is set to start the T20 league purely as a batter and hopefully he will be bowling at some stage in the tournament, according to CSK batting coach Mike Hussey.

Stokes, who was signed by the CSK for an impressive fee of Rs 16.25 crore in December, administered a cortisone injection in his troublesome left knee ahead of the Ashes.
