A Tipping Point contestant walked away with £2,750 after spurning the chance to gamble for a jackpot of £10,000.
Janet said she was "gutted" to miss out on the big cash prize but said she was "content" with her winnings. Host Ben Shephard told her she "should've given it another go" as it was revealed she could have taken home the £10,000.
The aim of the final round is to see if the contestant can get the jackpot counter through the machine and out again. Janet ran out of questions with her jackpot counter at the tipping point, but was offered the chance to trade her £2,750 in for three more attempts to drop the jackpot counter.
Without hesitation Janet said she was happy to walk away with her £2,750 and would not want to risk losing it. But the programme then showed what would have happened if Janet had continued to play for the £10,000 - showing the jackpot counter dropping within one attempt, which would have won Janet the £10,000.
Host Ben said: "Oh no! Janet, you should've given it another go." Janet added: "I am gutted I didn't give it at another go but I couldn't risk it and I am content with my £2,750."
Janet revealed the £2,750 she won would go go towards a family holiday.
The daytime favourite quiz show airs weekdays at 4pm on ITV1. The episode featuring Janet first aired in January 2020.
