Ben Shephard hits out at Tipping Point player for 'taking forever'

A Tipping Point contestant who took her time answering questions was told she was "taking forever" by host Ben Shephard.

On Monday, Ben welcomed another round of players today ready to take on the old arcade-style machine. Andy, Lesley and Adil were in the ITV studio for this week's first instalment of Tipping Point.

During round one, Lesley won a glamping trip, before going on to answer a number of questions correctly in the hopes of making it to the final.

She hesitated before answering, which some fans at home seemed to notice. Taking to Twitter, Sarah said: "Aww I think she was just nervous", while Charlie said: "She's just taking her time".

Ben picked up on it too. At the end of her questions, he said: "You got five correct answers, well done. And you took forever... I was panicking there, I thought you'd forgotten you were under pressure".

Sadly, she was soon sent home after the first round, meaning Adil and Andy would battle it out and Lesley left with just her glamping trip.

Lesley had banked a decent £900, the same as Adil. But Lesley buzzed in and gave an incorrect answer, meaning Adil went through by the "skin of his teeth", according to Ben.
